Quote of the day: “It’s easy to look at the win-loss record and say, ‘That’s who you are,’ which is fine. I understand that ultimately that is who we are.”
-- USC Coach Steve Sarkisian
USC defeated Notre Dame, 49-14, in the regular-season finale on Saturday at the Coliseum.
The Trojans improved to 8-4 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-12 Conference.
Notre Dame fell to 7-5.
