A day after USC offered Jonathan Kongbo III, the defensive lineman from Arizona Western College announced his decommitment from Tennessee.
Kongbo committed to the Volunteers in November.
“At this point I will wait until national signing day for a final decision to be made,” Kongbo wrote in a tweet Tuesday. “Tennessee will remain a school that I will heavily look at.”
The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Kongbo is considered an elite junior college player in the 2016 recruiting class, according to Rivals and Scout.
He has made official visits to Ole Miss, Oregon State and Tennessee.
USC has 14 players committed in its 2016 class, including defensive linemen Liam Jimmons from Huntington Beach, Oluwole Betiku from Gardena Serra and Keyshon Camp from Lake Gibson Senior in Lakeland, Fla.
Lineman Keanu Saleapaga from La Mirada announced his decommitment from the Trojans on Monday.
USC has six scholarships available.
