For USC tight end Randall Telfer, the off week is no time for rest or to enjoy extracurricular activities.
It’s time to catch up on schoolwork.
Telfer, a fifth-year senior who received his bachelor’s degree in political science last spring, is studying for his master’s in communications management.
“It’s a little tough,” Telfer said about his course load. “But one day after football, I’d like to go into marketing or consulting.”
Telfer has played for four coaches at USC. He said having the bye week off from practice feels “different” from in the past.
“The team is loving it,” he said.
