USC coaches are projecting far into the future.
Several recruits in the 2017 class -- high school sophomores -- announced offers from the Trojans in the last few weeks.
On Saturday, West Hills Chaminade High running back T.J. Pledger, a 2018 recruit, announced he received a Trojans offer.
“Blessed to say I just received my 2nd offer from USC #FightOn,” Pledger wrote in a Twitter post, accompanied by a photo with Coach Steve Sarkisian in the Coliseum.
Pledger, 5 feet 8 and 170 pounds, rushed for 822 yards and 11 touchdowns last season as a freshman. He also caught 15 passes for 179 yards.
Pledger received his first offer in December from Washington, he wrote.
