$60 smoothed the way to passports

In reference to “Paper Crawl” [On the Spot, June 24], two friends had waited two-plus months and never got their passports. They then sent $60 each for expedited service and voilà, the passports arrived two days later.
Who says money doesn’t talk? Shame on our system.
