What do the films “There Will Be Blood,” “No Country for Old Men” and “Giant” have in common? Parts of all three films were shot in and around this dusty Western railroad town. Back in the 1930s, cattlemen gathered to cut deals in this hotel lobby on the main drag. In 1955, James Dean stopped in. Now you’ll see, along with locals, fancy art folk who come from miles away to file through rooms of minimal interest on an old military base outside town.
