Your Scene: Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina

Iguazu Falls is so big that it stretches across two countries. This photo from Times reader “efurst1” was taken from the Brazilian side (where it’s spelled Iguaçu). The massive falls span almost two miles and drops up to 229 feet.
Iguazu Falls is at the heart of Iguazu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park is home to more than 2,000 species of vascular plant species and wildlife such as anteaters, toucans, howler monkeys and jaguars. From Buenos Aires, the falls are a 90-minute plane ride.
