Carlos Santana celebrates 100,000th Las Vegas ticket with a contest

Reporting from Las Vegas — Guitarist and singer Carlos Santana is on the verge of selling his 100,000th ticket to his resident show at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, and fans have a shot at winning a prize package that includes a chance to meet the guitar legend.
By Oct. 23, fans need to sign up for a chance to win two tickets to “An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live,” along with an autographed PRS Santana SE custom electric guitar signed by the man himself, a meet and greet and photo opportunity with Santana on Nov. 7, one night at Mandalay Bay and dinner for two in the Foundation Room.
Santana has performed at the House of Blues since 2012.
The singer’s career spans 40 years with more than 100 million records sold and 10 Grammy Awards, making his debut at Woodstock in 1969. His biggest hits include “Black Magic Woman,” “Evil Ways,” “Oye Coma Va” and “Smooth.”
Last November, Santana’s memoir “The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story to Light” came out.
Santana’s upcoming shows take place Sept. 23 and 25-27, Nov. 4, 6-8, 11 and 13-15.
