TEL AVIV — A Katyusha rocket apparently fired from Jordan landed in northern Israel on Tuesday night but caused no casualties or damage, Israel radio said Wednesday.
The broadcast said Jordanian troops could be seen at daybreak patrolling near the Israeli border, apparently searching for the guerrillas who fired the rocket.
The rocket fell in a field near the point where the borders of Israel, Jordan and Syria meet.
The attack was the sixth from Jordanian territory in recent months, the broadcast said.
