Energy Expo Scheduled in Torrance

“Energy Awareness” is the theme for Torrance’s annual Energy Expo, to be held Sunday and Monday at the Torrance Holiday Inn, 21333 Hawthorne Blvd.
The seventh annual event is co-sponsored by the City of Torrance and the Torrance Chamber of Commerce. Major companies will have displays about energy conservation, energy-related products and new technological developments in the field.
Prizes will be awarded to Torrance-area students who submit winning essays and posters depicting energy awareness, and Energy Management Awards will be presented to individuals and institutions for cost-effective energy management.
The Expo is free to the public. It will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday.
