4 of 5 Gun Shop Bandits Escape

Four of five men who smashed a truck into a Northridge gun shop escaped early today, dropping antique weapons as they fled, but a fifth man was arrested after a police chase, officers said.
Sgt. Paul Haberman said the men apparently backed their small pickup truck through the window of National Gun Sales on Parthenia Street at 3:55 a.m, taking 10 to 12 antique rifles. One man who was not immediately identified was arrested for investigation of burglary, Haberman said.
