Former San Francisco 49er quarterback and NBC sportscaster John Brodie, who is attempting to make it on the PGA Seniors Tour, failed to make the cut for a tournament at Lexington, Ky. He shot an even-par 71, and it took a 70 to earn one of the six qualifying spots for the tournament that begins Thursday.
