Fire raced through a bookstore at UC Berkeley, causing more than $1 million damage. Berkeley Fire Chief Bill White said it is “too early to speculate” whether the blaze was linked to a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of two campus buildings Friday. Nobody was in the store when the fire broke out, and there were no injuries.
