Woman Scalds Pair on Seeing Boyfriend in Bed With Another

BOSTON — A woman who discovered her boyfriend in bed with another woman tossed boiling water on the two and slashed his chest, police said.
Marisol Pizarro, 22, found the pair sleeping in bed about 5 a.m. Sunday in the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, Jose Pizarro, 21, who has the same last name, police said. She was charged with mayhem and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Nancy Ortega, 17, was in stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital with second-degree burns to the face and upper body. The boyfriend was treated for knife wounds and second-degree burns and released.
