I read with great interest the letter in The Times from the attorney who was dissatisfied with the service he has received from American Airlines.
Granted American has not been able to accommodate me with some special meals I have ordered, but what the airline has served has been good and at least wasn’t served on the hospital trays that I have found of late on United.
The people at American are among the best in the business. Sure, I’ve had a bad experience or two, but it’s usually after some surly passenger has made everyone’s life miserable because he has a seat in row 9 instead of row 14.
No, American isn’t perfect, but the people there are at least working to give the best service in the business and they are head and shoulders above the other carriers.
