Fire officials said an arson fire caused $75,000 in damage Sunday to a house and its contents in the 400 block of South Paseo Real in Anaheim.
There were no injuries, and no one was at home when the fire was reported at about 6:50 p.m., Anaheim Fire Department Capt. Jerry Hart said.
After bringing the fire under control in about 15 minutes, investigators determined that someone had deliberately set fires in several places throughout the house, Hart said. Fires were set on furniture and by using compressed paper fireplace logs, trash and paper. The house had been worth about $250,000, he said.
