Countywide : SAN CLEMENTE : Officer Recognized for Aid to Victims

A San Clemente law enforcement officer Wednesday was among five people presented with governor’s proclamations recognizing their efforts in providing help to crime victims.
Jan Sener of the San Clemente Police Department was singled out for her work with the California Crime Prevention Officers’ Assn. She is chairwoman-elect of the organization and works as a crime prevention officer with the San Clemente Police Department.
Others recognized by the California Office of Criminal Justice Planning on Wednesday were: Michele Aiken of Modesto, central representative to the California Alliance Against Domestic Violence; Gloria Sandoval of San Pablo, chairwoman of the California State Coalition of Rape Crisis Centers; Ellen Sheriton of Redding, Californians for Drug Free Youths board member, and Jacqueline Hill of Culver City, acting vice chair, State Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice.
The proclamations were announced by the California Office of Criminal Justice Planning.
