El Toro 74, Mission Viejo 70 (OT)--El Toro (9-7, 1-1) led by as many as 20 points in the first half, then had to rally in overtime for the victory. Rob Johnson had 33 and Dave Canfield had 18 for El Toro. Each had 10 rebounds.
Matt Brummel had 34 for Mission Viejo (5-12, 0-2), including a three-pointer with 15 seconds left to tie it at 68.
Irvine 61, San Clemente 50--John Molle scored nine of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for visiting Irvine (14-2, 2-0). Robert Moore and Eddie Morgan scored 13 each for San Clemente (9-8, 0-2).
