Disney’s Plan for Lake Doesn’t Square With Reality of Drought

Being aware of the Disney Co.’s community service awards and its many contributions to Orange County, I wonder why there is not more foresight and concern given as to how their proposed development affects Anaheim and the resulting traffic pollution?
The Disney Co. could become a model for all by building a monorail system (with help from Measure M funds) connecting the airports, certain Amtrak stations and bus depots.
At the same time, a creative housing complex on its perimeter and an effort at job training for those being displaced could all be included. If the creative spirit of Walt Disney can’t do this, then who can?
