Baumgart, president of Shoreline Professional Video Systems, won 26 to 13--”an overwhelming majority,” a statement by the chamber said.
Also elected at the directors’ meeting last week were six officers proposed by the nominating committee and accepted unanimously: Senior Vice Chairman William Fleet, publisher, Hollywood Independent Newspapers; Vice Chairman Alix Baptiste, general manager, Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel; Vice Chairman Julie Kleinick, vice president, M & S Management; Vice Chairman Joe Hummel, administrator, Kaiser Foundation Hospital Los Angeles; Treasurer Donald Putrimas, vice president, Warner Hollywood Studios, and Secretary Henry Hilty, president, A. The group takes office April 1 and will serve one-year terms.
