After finding nothing to support a claim that Mike Tyson’s rape conviction was fixed, prosecutors in Indianapolis ended their investigation.
Prosecutors interviewed the 12 jurors and three alternates from the Tyson trial after an attorney reported overhearing a juror say the verdict was “rigged.”
Tyson’s attorneys are conducting their own interviews with jurors and will present their findings to Judge Patricia Gifford before sentencing, scheduled for March 26.
Tyson, 25, was found guilty of raping Desiree Washington of Coventry, R.I., in his hotel room last July.
