B of A Closing 82 Out-of-State Branches: The branches are the first of several hundred expected to be closed in the wake of the bank’s acquisition last month of Security Pacific Corp. The branches affected include 21 in Arizona, 32 in Washington, 22 in Oregon and seven in Nevada. BofA is combining wherever possible Bank of America branches with former Security Pacific branches as part of its effort to save $1.2 billion in annual expenses.
