No Laughing Matter: Red Skelton has canceled a Sept. 3 performance at the Minnesota State Fair because he has a broken rib. Skelton, 79, fell in the bathtub last week and fractured and displaced a rib. His doctor advised him not to travel or perform for at least six weeks, according to his booking agency. Bob Hope has agreed to sub for his fellow comedian.
