Countywide : Road Work to Close Connector, Ramp

The southbound Santa Ana Freeway connector to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway and the 1st Street on-ramp to the Santa Ana Freeway will be closed beginning today at 11:30 p.m., through Saturday at 11:30 p.m., according to Caltrans.
Workers will be installing concrete pipe as part of a new drainage system.
To connect from the southbound Santa Ana Freeway to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway, the California Department of Transportation suggests exiting on Red Hill Avenue, traveling south on Red Hill Avenue to Edinger Avenue, continuing west on Edinger Avenue to the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway on-ramp.
