Nominations Taken for Latino Awards

El Concilio del Condado de Ventura is accepting nominations from the public for its fourth annual leadership awards.
Awards are given by the Latino advocacy and service organization each year to recognize Ventura County individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the the county’s Latino community.
Leadership awards are given in the following categories: youth (ages 14 to 22), business, cultural arts, education and community service.
The awards will be presented at a dinner in January. Entries are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 30. For nomination forms and more information, call 983-2336.
