San Gabriel : License Moratorium OKd

The City Council last week unanimously approved an urgency ordinance declaring a 45-day moratorium on licenses for businesses such as adult bookstores or massage parlors and asked city staff to draft regulations.
City Administrator P. Michael Paules said that, although there are currently no adult businesses in the city, two people had inquired in recent months about establishing such businesses.
The city code currently contains no guidelines regarding their operation.
