Has Roseanne Arnold lost her mind? “Jackie Thomas” is “more cutting edge than anything David Lynch and Oliver Stone can bring to television”? To compare “Twin Peaks” and “Wild Palms” to “Jackie Thomas” is an insult to both Lynch and Stone. I think Roseanne’s bias is showing and she should get a little perspective.
I am disgusted by her abuse of power regarding “The Jackie Thomas Show” (“Roseanne & Tom Play Hardball,” April 15). While it is true that “Roseanne” is a very popular show and one of the best-written comedies on TV, I don’t understand why anybody should have to watch her husband’s less-than-wonderful show. The fact is that nobody is watching it because nobody likes it!
If the Arnolds want to go to another network, then maybe ABC should let them go.
