John P. Wilcox has been named the new publisher of the E.W. Scripps Co.’s Ventura County newspaper group.
Wilcox succeeds Peter La Dow, who was interim publisher.
The Scripps’ Ventura County group includes the Camarillo Daily News, Simi Valley Enterprise, Thousand Oaks News-Chronicle and Ventura Star-Free Press, with a combined circulation of more than 100,000.
