PLACENTIA : Youth Leader Held in Molestation Case

A 28-year-old youth group leader at a church has been arrested on suspicion of molesting four boys between 1991 and 1993, police said Wednesday.
Michael Webb Blinkhorn of Reseda was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of 18 felony counts of child molestation, according to Corinne Loomis of the Placentia Police Department.
Loomis said that Blinkhorn’s arrest came after a monthlong investigation. Loomis said that Blinkhorn met the four youths, who ranged in age from 12 to 15, while working as a “core group leader,” a voluntary position, at the Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton.
Blinkhorn turned himself in at County Jail Tuesday and was being held on $75,000 bail, jail officials said.
