St. Francis Takes Fifth Against Pasadena

LA CANADA — St. Francis High recorded its second consecutive shutout and remained undefeated with a 27-0 nonleague victory over Pasadena Friday night at St. Francis.
Robert Milton led St. Francis (5-0) with 143 yards in 19 carries, including a 26-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
Quarterback John Carnevali passed for one touchdown and ran for another for the Golden Knights.
Carnevali opened the scoring with a 26-yard pass to Mike Siordia midway through the first quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Carnevali added a nine-yard touchdown run on a bootleg.
The Golden Knights, who have allowed 21 points in five games this season, limited Pasadena (2-3) to 127 yards and forced three turnovers.
Lineman Alan Cate had two of St. Francis’ four sacks.
Darin Maxwell contributed 70 yards in 14 carries and a one-yard touchdown run for St. Francis.
