Re the article on Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush being fined $50,000 by the California Fair Political Practices Commission: I am astounded that an item that affects all Californians who purchase auto, earthquake, etc., insurance was placed on the back page of Metro (April 3).
This obviously shows that Quackenbush was financed by the very insurance companies that he was elected to regulate. It would seem proper for the state Assembly or Senate to investigate this blatant conflict of interest.
