Children’s Services Workshop Planned

A workshop focusing on improving services and opportunities for children will be today at San Clemente High School.
“An Evening for Our Children ‘97: The Next Step,” is a community planning and action workshop for parents and other residents with youth-related concerns.
The event will be hosted by the San Clemente Task Force for Youth and the Capistrano Unified School District.
This week’s workshop is a follow-up to an October meeting titled “Evening for Our Children.” The goal, Sener said, is to set up five committees to develop specific programs or services to address needs of community youth.
A free dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., with the session set to begin at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be in Triton Center at San Clemente High School, 700 Avenida Pico.
