Abuse Allegations Are Outrageous

Re “Orangewood Medical Care Hit in Report,” July 4:
I’m writing concerning the story, which ran Friday on Orangewood Children’s Home. It is outrageous that these children who are brought to this home to escape an abusive situation are then experimented on by psychiatrists as if they were animals.
It stated that “this has been going on for years” and it would still be going today if one of the employees hadn’t come forward. The purpose of Orangewood is to provide a safe environment for these kids, not to have psychiatrists drug them into a stupor.
