Supervisor Long to Open Satellite Office

Ventura County Supervisor Kathy Long will open a satellite office in Thousand Oaks today in an effort to better serve constituents in the eastern part of the county.

The office, at 625 W. Hillcrest Drive, was donated by the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and will give Thousand Oaks residents the opportunity to meet with Long without having to make the half-hour trek to Ventura.

“Throughout my campaign, I pledged to make myself available to the public, and this is one more avenue from which I can do that,” she said.

Long will be at the office from 3 to 5 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Residents are welcome to drop in or call Barbara Berglund at 654-2276 to make an appointment.
