The Name’s Not Quite the Same

In his Sept. 21 letter referring to “The Building That Time Forgot by Ed Leibowitz, Aug. 17), James van Scoyoc makes some interesting points about the historic buildings of the Plaza District.
However, he refers to the building on the corner of Main and Republic streets as “the 110-year-old Brunswick Building.” That structure actually is the Brunswig Building, longtime headquarters of the Brunswig Wholesale Drug Co.
