LAPD Captain to Discuss Changes in Staffing System

The new captain of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Division will meet with Westside residents tonight to explain changes in the deployment of community relations officers.
Capt. Alan Kerstein will be at Councilwoman Ruth Galanter’s office to discuss changes involving senior lead officers and the department’s community-based policing efforts.
Tonight’s meeting will be at 6:30 at Galanter’s field office, 7166 W. Manchester.
