Volunteers Sought for Trail Cleanup
The Conejo Valley Open Space Conservancy Agency is looking for participants to lend a hand in sprucing up the organization’s web of trails at its annual Conejo Open Space Trail Work Day on Saturday.
After a 7:30 a.m. breakfast, the 77th annual Trail Work Day will have volunteers fan out to areas near the Conejo Creek North Park to pick up trash, clear brush and repair and build trails.
The cleanup will begin at 8 a.m. and end about noon. Afterward, Councilman Andy Fox will sponsor a barbecue for all volunteers.
Organizers encourage participants to wear protective clothing, sturdy shoes and gloves.
