Harbor Area Job Fair Features Free Services

Harbor district Councilman Rudy Svorinich and Los Angeles Harbor College will host the third annual Harbor Area Job Fair on Thursday to help unemployed residents find work in the community.
The free fair will include information on job opportunities and workshops on resumes and interviewing. Representatives from several job training programs will also be available to get interested people signed up.
“Providing jobs for people who want to work is vital as we continue to turn the economy around,” Svorinich said.
The fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Los Angeles Harbor College at 1111 Figueroa Place.
