Three Victims Identified in Restaurant Shootout

HUNTINGTON PARK — Police on Friday identified three men who were killed in a gun battle at a family restaurant in Huntington Park.
Ricardo Gonzalez, 32, of Compton; Jose Vega, 30, of Inglewood; and Jose Quintero, 22, of Delano died Thursday during the lunchtime shootout at the Mexico 86 restaurant, Huntington Park Police Sgt. Bill Diers said.
Detectives remain unsure about the motive of the shootout but believe the incident may have been a drug deal gone awry.
Police have interviewed and released two men who they had previously said were possible suspects. No one has been arrested.
