From Times wire reports
A U.S. immigration judge has ordered the deportation of a Chicago man accused of serving as an armed guard during a two-day massacre of more than 3,700 Jews in Lithuania in 1941, the Justice Department said. Under the order, Vincas Valkavickas, 78, must permanently leave the U.S. for Lithuania by June 30. In a settlement agreement with the government, Valkavickas admitted that he served in the Nazi-controlled Lithuanian police from 1941 to 1944 and that he lied about his wartime activities when he came to the U.S. in 1950.
