The City Council recently decided to continue participating in an emergency services Mutual Aid Agreement with 11 other cities and the county. The agreement allows the city to receive aid if a local emergency is declared. Westminster most recently relied on agreement services in dealing with a 5-million-gallon water tank rupture last year.
