The Assistance League of Newport Mesa held its Medallion Debutante Ball over the weekend to honor young women in the area who have performed more than 100 hours of volunteer work. Those recognized included Carol Ann Bahan, Amy Elizabeth Baum, Christi Allison Dabney, Amy Lynn Davis, Emilyn Kathryn Evarts, Rachel Rebecca Ganiere, Heather Allison Hasse, Stephanie Alison Hendrick, Christine Leanne Long, Ashley Elizabeth Lyon, Leslie Renee May, Kelly Lynn McKenzie, Starla Caecilie Silver, Lauryn Elizabeth Skellern, Kindra Clare Witzel, Maryanne Guigon Wood and Amy Beth Yoak.
