Leisure World residents and their guests are invited to hear a debate between a campaign finance advocate and an opponent Dec. 8.
John Eastman, an attorney for Irvine’s Lincoln Club who is against campaign finance reform, will debate county activist Shirley Grindle, who believes political candidates should not be allowed to accept large campaign contributions.
The debate begins at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Leisure World’s Clubhouse 3.
