* “Bus Solutions Are Needed Now” (Sept. 19), succinctly asks why improvements in bus service can’t begin now, whatever the eventual fate of a [San Fernando] Valley transit zone application. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is readying a rapid bus pilot project for Ventura Boulevard that promises to improve service, efficiency and performance by next year. This deserves the enthusiastic support of all self-proclaimed bus advocates, whatever their position is on transit zones.
Instead of endless bickering, let’s move forward!
