San Fernando 32, Van Nuys 27--Coach Mark Pomerantz of Van Nuys played the game under protest after the third quarter for what he termed poor officiating at San Fernando.
The teams combined for 275 yards in penalties and a scuffle broke out after the game.
Bobby Stanley of San Fernando (8-0, 3-0) had touchdown runs of 75 yards and 67 yards in the first half. He finished with 218 yards in 11 carries.
Teammate William Lang ran nine times for 109 yards and scored on a 40-yard run in the third quarter. The Tigers finished with 342 yards rushing.
Max Parra of Van Nuys (1-7, 0-3) completed three of six passes for 61 yards and threw a 24-yard scoring pass to Luis Arreola in the second quarter.
