In recognition of Drowning Prevention Month, the city will join the Orange County Fire Authority and Children’s Hospital of Orange County in presenting a “Supervision and Safe Swimming Workshop” on June 20.
The city’s aquatic staff and the Fire Authority will present the program at 10 a.m. at Peak Park pool, 7225 El Dorado Drive.
The workshop will feature lifesaving techniques and demonstrations, cardiopulmonary resuscitation training and drowning prevention information. To register, call (714) 562-3845.
