Bruce Hird, executive director of the Buena Park Boys & Girls Club, received the Distinguished Service Award during the Centralia School District’s annual awards presentation Monday night.
Hird was given the award for his and the Boys & Girls Club’s involvement with the Healthy Start and Forgotten Children’s program. Both programs provide service to Centralia School District children.
