Kudos to a Trio of Environmental Heroines

What a delight to read about the trio of young environmentalists--Nevada Dove, Maria Perez and Fabiola Tostado (“Toxic Crusaders,” May 24). Unfazed by bureaucratic lies and obstacles, the girls’ determination to get at the truth and make a difference is quite inspiring. Ms. Dove wants to be a lawyer, so where’s her Harvard scholarship? If ever three people deserved a first-class education, it is these young women.
And L.A., being L.A., surely sees the dramatic potential here. Erin Brockovich, move over.
