Search Continues for Grandmother Camper

Searchers spent a third day looking in the mountains of northern San Diego County for a 79-year-old Lakeside woman who disappeared Sunday while hiking.
Edith Verline Baker was camping with her daughter and grandchildren in the woods between Lake Cuyamaca and Julian when she went hiking alone. The Sheriff’s Department searched with helicopters, mounted officers and divers.
Officials said Baker took no water with her and was not wearing clothing suitable to stay out overnight.
