USC’s Howard Will Transfer

The USC football team, set to announce a new recruiting class today, has lost a promising player from last season.
Tailback Chris Howard, who came off the bench to score three touchdowns in the final two games of the regular season, is academically ineligible. He reportedly will transfer.
Howard was a prep All-American at Banning High but struggled with injuries and schoolwork during two seasons at USC.
